Two warranties protect your new windows
Your windows are covered two different ways, by two different companies. Knowing who covers what saves you time if you ever need service.
How your windows were fitted and sealed into your home. This is our workmanship, and it is covered by this Lifetime Installation Warranty for as long as you own and live in the home.
The glass, vinyl, hardware, and screens. The manufacturer warrants the parts against defects, including a lifetime seal warranty on the insulated glass. We help you file those claims.
Our Lifetime Leak-Free Guarantee
Here is the simple version. If water is leaking into your home and the cause is the glass or our installation, we fix it at no cost, for as long as you own and live in the home. This covers the labor for the repair directly caused by the leak.
A leak from any other source is a billable service visit. That keeps the promise clear and honest.

This warranty is personal to you, the original purchaser. It stays in force for as long as you own and live in the home at the installation address, and it ends when the home is sold.
How glass and product service works
Many window problems people call about turn out to be a failed glass seal, which shows up as fog or moisture between the panes. That is a product matter, and the manufacturer supplies the replacement glass under its own warranty.
The manufacturer pays the labor to install a warranty part for a limited time only, typically the first year after installation. After that, the manufacturer sends the part and our visit to install it is a billable service. If that same glass is actively leaking water into your home, the fix is covered at no cost under our Leak-Free Guarantee.
Accidental glass breakage. Most warranties will not touch glass you break by accident. Several of our MW Vinyl and MW Aluminum lines are different: the manufacturer covers accidental glass breakage for the life of the product warranty, so the replacement glass is supplied at no charge. Our labor to install it is billable. Coverage varies by series, so ask your advisor which of our windows include it.
Your part: simple maintenance
The caulk we apply is guaranteed for the first 2 years as part of our installation. After that, keeping it fresh is normal home maintenance, like exterior paint. Because the Houston heat and humidity are hard on caulk, we recommend a check about once a year, and we recaulk the affected windows as a service visit when needed.
Two more easy things keep everything working: keep the weep holes clear so the windows drain as designed, and clean the glass and frames with mild soap and water only, no solvents or abrasive cleaners.

If water is leaking because of the glass or our installation, we correct it at no cost. For anything else, we explain the cause and give you a written price before we schedule the work.
